The Williams AV BA R1 receiver is designed for use with the Infinium™ and other Auracast systems. The receiver features a large OLED screen, easy access buttons with tactile feedback, and a standard 3.5mm socket to connect an earphone, headphones or an inductive neck loop.
The Infinium R1 receiver supports both secure (private) and open (public) audio modes. The receiver’s rechargeable lithium-ion battery ensures reliable, all-day operation and can be charged via USB or a multi-unit charging dock.
The receiver is a user-friendly solution for those without an Auracast enabled device such as earbuds, headphones, hearing aids or cochlear implants.
Auracast is a new standard for Bluetooth Low Energy transmission which enables one-to-many sharing of audio. It enables crowded public spaces to offer clear audio in concerts halls, theatres, universities, exhibitions spaces, stadiums, silent screens in gymnasiums, sport bars, airport lounges, waiting rooms, museums, music festivals and many other places where multi-channel audio streaming is required.
