General Description

The Sennheiser EKP AVX is a compact plug-on wireless receiver unit for use with Sennheiser AVX series transmitters. It features auto-frequency configuration for ease of setup, rotating housing to avoid collisions, and an incorporated 3-pin XLR male plug to directly insert into a video camera, recording device, or other XLR input.

When used with a professional video camera the EKP AVX unit has an auto-off feature can switch the unit off when the camera is turned off, and input sensitivity that can match the camera audio levels. The unit can also be connected to DSLR cameras using the included mini-jack adapter.
