Tourtalk is a portable short-range wireless system used to transmit an audio message from a presenter to an audience. The presenter speaks into a radio microphone transmitter and the audience use lightweight receivers to hear the message.

The system is very easy to use without any previous knowledge or experience of using a tour guide system, and each system is supplied with a user guide. The hire systems can be pre-configured to be ready to use straight out of the box.

Every system is fully tested before being dispatched so you can concentrate on your event instead of worrying about the equipment. We provide full telephone and email support and can be contacted out of hours if necessary. For larger events we can even provide on-site support and training.

We have Two large Tourtalk systems are available to hire. The TT 40 tour guide system has a range of up to 120m and has forty channels. The TT 100 tour guide system has a range of up to 30m, 100 channels and allows to tour guides to speak on the same channel.

Hire systems are configured to suit your event. A wide arrange of accessories are available from lapel, plug-in and headband (shown) microphones for the tour guide. We also supply an aux-in lead to a connect a laptop, tablet or smartphone.

The lapel microphone is ideal for hand-free use in quieter locations such as Museums, Art galleries, etc. The headband microphone in recommend in noisy or windy areas. Both the lapel and headband microphone allow the guide to conduct their tour hands-free. The plug-in microphone enables the transmitter to be passed between people. This can be useful if there are multiple guides or for interviews/question and answer sessions.

The receivers can be supplied with high quality disposable earphones which are reusable and given to your guests to keep after the event. These save you time after the event, as you do not need to collect all the headphones back in, and gives your visitors something to take home to re-use. It also avoids any hygiene issues of guests having to share earpieces. Alternatively, over-the-head headphones can be supplied.

If the tour is to take place in a noisy environment where hear protection is required, then either the earphones can be used under existing dual-muff ear defenders, or the headphones can be used over earplugs.

All the transmitters and receivers are supplied with a belt clip and lanyard.
