General Description

Sennheiser ew 500 G4-MKE2 wireless system with bodypack transmitter, lapel microphone and diversity receiver.

Evolution wireless has been the industry standard for flexibility, ease of use and reliability for wireless microphone systems for years and the new and improved G4 system looks to continue this trend.

The best that the G4 500 series has to offer for the voice: top-notch condenser technology coupled with a true diversity receiver. This system captures every last nuance and detail of the vocalist. A programmable mute button on the microphone lets the user decide when it is time to go “on-air.”

With a wide tuning range and easy to use interface, the half-unit size receiver has true diversity for stable RF and is supplied complete rack mounting brackets.

The wireless Sennheiser G4 ew 500 range is available in the following frequency ranges:

Range Aw+ = 470 - 558 MHz
Range Gw = 558 - 626 MHz
Range GBw = 606 - 678 MHz
Range Bw = 626 - 698 MHz
Range Cw = 718 - 790 MHz
Range Dw = 790 - 865 MHz

Only Range GBw (channel 38) and Range Dw (channel 70) systems are available for purchase on the online shop. The other frequency ranges are available by special request for fixed site licence applications. Range GBw includes Channel 38 which is the most reliable solution for portable wireless microphone systems. (Please Note. Channel 38 use requires a licence. For more information please contact us or visit here. Range Dw includes Channel 70 which is for legal licence-free use in the UK and Europe.

The Sennheiser G4 range of wireless microphone systems are capable of operating simultaneously, intermodulation free, on six frequencies in the licence exempt 863-865 MHz (channel 70) band. These frequencies are;

863.100 MHz
863.400 MHz
863.750 MHz
864.225 MHz
864.550 MHz
864.975 MHz
