Tourtalk have launched a new tour guide system that enables one-way and two-way communication between a tour guide and their tour group. The Tourtalk TT 200 system allows the tour guide to speak to the group and for members of the tour group to respond when the tour guide permits, ensuring the tour guide maintains full control of the proceedings.
Two-way tour guide systems make it more convenient for visitor tours with questions and answer sessions or interviews, as the tour guide does not have to pass the microphone transmitter between the group. Each transmitter and receiver has a talk button, integrated microphone and socket to connect an earphone, headphone or headset. When a guest is given talking rights, they can be heard by the entire tour group with a maximum of two live microphones at a time on a FIFT (first-in-first-talk) program. As the TT 200 system is full duplex, both people can speak at the same time as if on a telephone call.
Example. The tour guide addressing the tour group.
Example. A guest asking a question to the tour guide.
The Tourtalk TT 200 tour guide system reduces frustration and confusion for the tour group, ensuring everyone is clearly heard without straining their voice by not having to compete with noise or distance to be understood.
With three communication modes and a wide range of earphones, headphones, headsets, chargers and storage cases available, a Tourtalk TT 200 system can be configured to suit a tour in any environment.
