Tourtalk TT 40 Language interpretation system (TT 40-SI1M)

General Description

The Tourtalk TT 40-SI1M is a complete language interpretation system comprising 1 transmitter with headband microphone (for the interpreter), 1 receiver with single earphone (for the delegate) and a transport case.

The transmitter features an integrated microphone and microphone socket, microphone mute ‘cough’ switch, and an aux-in socket to enable the connection of a conference system.

The receiver features a headphone socket and volume control.

Both the transmitter and receiver are supplied complete with belt clips and lanyards for hands-free operation.

The transport case stores the transmitter and receiver. This compact case provides protection during transit and storage.

The Tourtalk language interpretation system has been designed to be very user friendly and can be setup within minutes of arriving at a venue. As the system is completely wireless it can be operated indoors or outdoors and requires no installation. This wireless system is ideal for providing discreet interpretation to an individual who doesn’t understand the floor language.

The lightweight headband microphone is worn by the interpreter. This sensitive microphone enables the user to whisper their translated message and therefore the system doesn’t require a booth. A ‘cough’ mute switch can be used to mute the microphone at any time.

If the interpretation is to be shared between two interpreters then an (optional) TT-PM plug-in microphone can be used. This enables the transmitter to be handheld and easily passed between the interpreters during the event.
