General Description
The Tourtalk TT 40-AD215 is a complete FM (RF) audio description system that can be setup minutes. The system comprises a transmitter, two describer headsets, a mixer, fifteen receivers with earphones and a charger.
The professional quality broadcast headsets and mixer enable the two describers to hear each other, an essential feature to ensure smooth collaboration during the event.
Each describer can add additional commentary e.g. describing the kits, body language, expressions and movements. This gives the system users more information about the things they might not be able to see, enabling them to visualise the scene and keep up with the action.
The users are each issued with a wireless bodypack receiver with a single earphone (leaving the other ear exposed so they can hear the dialogue/music/atmosphere). Alternatively, they can bring and plug-in their own earphones/headphones. They simply adjust their volume to a comfortable level. The Tourtalk system can be used very discreetly without disturbing the surrounding seats.
The receivers have been designed to be very easy to use. Each unit features a channel lock function, which stops the user accidentally changing the channel, and a lanyard so the user doesn’t have to constantly hold it during an event.
The charger transport case simultaneously recharges and stores up to 15 receivers. The detachable charger tray can either be used within the case or used as a desktop charger to be stored at a box office.
System can be expanded at any time by purchasing additional receivers. Optional inductive neck loops are available to assist hearing aid users.
The storage cases can be supplied with an integrated retractable handle and wheels on request.
