Univox IRR-1 infrared receiver

General Description

The Univox IRR-1 is a wireless 2-channel infrared pendant receiver designed for professional applications. 

Equipped with IR transparent case and multiple internal receiving diodes for increased sensitivity. The receiver works with transmitters (also known as radiators or emitters) operating on the popular 2.3 and 2.8MHz bandwidth. 

The unit is very easy to operate. Simply select the channel frequency and adjust the volume with the intuitive slide volume control. A squelch switch can automatically mute the audio if no IR signal is present.

Powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery, this lightweight receiver is to be worn around the neck, pendant-style (with the supplied lanyard) or clipped on a pocket. Charging is via micro-USB.

A standard 3.5mm socket is used to connect a neck loop to supplement personal hearing aids with a telecoil /T-switch setting or earphones/headphones. The socket incorporates the On/Off switch.
