General Description

The Sennheiser ALK 83 is a portable infrared assistive listening kit to assist people who are hard-of-hearing. The system is supplied with everything needed to provide basic IR hearing support (up to 80 sq/m), and is stored in a heavy duty transport case.

The system comprises of a miniature Infra-Red radiator on a telescopic table stand, a sensitive condenser microphone with desktop microphone base, an induction neck loop IR receiver (for use with a hearing aid), a stethoset IR receiver (to be used by a non-hearing aid wearer), two-way charger, connection leads and a transport/storage case.

The system is very easy to use without any prior experience of the equipment. Each system is supplied with laminated user instructions.
