General Description

The Tourtalk TT 100-SI23M is a complete digital language interpretation system comprising 2 transmitters with headband microphones (for the interpreters), 23 receivers with earphones (for the delegates) and a charger transport case.

The TT 100 system allows up to two interpreters (in dual presenter mode) to transmit on the same channel. This can be particularly useful for long meetings as the two interpreters can each have a transmitter, and alternate the interpretation, by muting one transmitter at a time.

The two transmitters can also be set to different channels to enable two different languages to be interpreted. e.g. Two interpreters to translate the floor language. e.g. English to Spanish and English to French. Each delegate can then choose to either listen to either the Spanish interpretation or the French interpretation.

Each transmitter features an integrated microphone and microphone socket, microphone mute ‘cough’ switch, and an aux-in socket to enable the connection of a conference system.

The receivers feature a headphone socket and volume control.

Both the transmitter and receivers are supplied complete with belt clips and lanyards for hands-free operation.

The charger transport case simultaneously recharges and stores up to 25 Tourtalk transmitter/receivers. The hard case provides protection during transit and storage, and is small enough to be carried as hand luggage for international travel. The detachable charger tray can either be used within the hard case or used as a desktop charger.

The Tourtalk language interpretation system has been designed to be very user friendly and can be setup within minutes of arriving at a venue. As the system is completely wireless it can be operated indoors or outdoors and requires no installation. This wireless system is ideal for international conferences or as a mobile interpretation system e.g. site tour by foreign visitors.

The lightweight headband microphone is worn by the interpreter. This sensitive microphone enables the user to whisper their translated message and therefore the system doesn’t require a booth. A ‘cough’ mute switch can be used to mute the microphone at any time.

Additional transmitters can be purchased for other interpreters, to enable multiple languages to be used simultaneously.
