Auri TX2N transmitter

 

The TX2N transmitter provides high quality, low-latency, multi-channel broadcast audio to an unlimited number of Auracast™ compatible receivers and devices. 

 

Auracast™ is a new standard for Bluetooth Low Energy audio transmission which enables one-to-many sharing of audio with listeners able to use their own Auracast enabled devices including earbuds, headphones, hearing aids, cochlear implants, smartphones or dedicated Auri™ RX1 receivers.

 

Auracast™ enables crowded public spaces to offer clear audio in concerts halls, theatres, universities, exhibitions spaces, stadiums, silent screens in gymnasiums, sport bars, airport lounges, waiting rooms, museums, music festivals and many other places where multi-channel BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) audio streaming is required.

 

The TX2N resembles a Wi-Fi access point and features a multicolour LED status indicator and concealed side panel hiding two balanced analogue microphone/line inputs and a balanced line output. A single ethernet connection manages PoE, network/PC control and Audio over IP. A USB-C socket is provided for optional power and a versatile mounting bracket is included for easy installation.

 

The transmitter allows a single stereo or two mono audio sources to be routed in a variety of ways to one or two broadcasts. With a range of up to 100m (depending on local conditions) a single transmitter will cover most small to medium size rooms. For larger spaces multiple transmitters can be linked together (with a recommend 20% overlap) as repeaters to extend the coverage. 

Auri Manager software is required to discover and configure the Auri Transmitters, docks and docked receivers over the network. This can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store, just search for “Auri Manager” or use this link https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NRJLR0V9QXH
