General Description

The Opus AuraSTRX is a dedicated Auracast™  transmitter and receiver with touchscreen. 

Auracast™ is a new standard for Bluetooth Low Energy audio transmission which enables one-to-many sharing of audio.

The dual purpose AuraSTRX operates as both a portable Auracast™ transmitter and receiver. 

When transmitting, the AuraSTRX enables hassle-free audio sharing by broadcasting to others. The presenter can either speak into the integrated microphone (that automatically activates thanks to the accelerometer) or plug in an external microphone/audio source. The screen can display a QR code to enable a private group to connect. Each group can be easily identified by the screen and LED banner colour. 

When receiving, the AuraSTRX can automatically scan for active Auracast™ streams or connect via a QR code. The user then can listen to the audio by connecting an earphone, headphones or (if they have a loop compatible hearing aid) a neck loop.
